      What’s Considered Bulky Trash?

      We’re here to help you dispose of bulk or heavy trash not suitable for your regular pickup service, whether it’s one chair or a whole attic full of items. Comprehensive lists of acceptable/unacceptable materials may vary, but some common household bulky, large or heavy items include:

      • Mattresses & Box Springs
      • Bed Frames
      • Cabinets
      • Sofa & Furniture Items
      • Other items too large to fit into your regular service container

      What should I expect when scheduling a bulk pickup?

      First we will need to gather some information – including who you are, where you are located, and what you have for us to pick up. After we verify that we can help you, we will give you a cost estimate. If that works for you, we will schedule your pickup and give instructions on how to prepare for your pickup day.

      If you are a Residental customer of Tri-State Disposal, we will remove one bulk item each week, free of charge, on your regular weekly residential pick-up day. Items need to be placed curbside by 6 AM with your collection carts on the day of collection. Items should weigh no more than 50 lbs., and able to be lifted by one person.

      Unfortunately, bulk trash pickup is only available on your scheduled day of service.

      Bulk waste pickup is included in your quarterly billing.

      Bulk waste pickup is available on your regularly scheduled service date.

      Your item may not have been on time, or the item was too heavy for one driver to lift. The best thing to do is reach out to our office at 708.388.9910. We'll can check our truck's cameras to determine the best plan to get your item picked up.
